All Talk: An 8-Hour Conversation About Playwriting

Siteworks, Brunswick, 2019

No keynotes, no experts, no agenda – just one very long open conversation about where we’re at, where we’re headed, and how we might build a stronger playwriting culture.

All Talk was conceived as a response to the crises in the Australian playwriting sector following the collapse of Playwriting Australia. The form attempts to break the form of the industry panel, and create an open space for the community to have a focussed conversation.

This free, self-funded event was organised by Mark Pritchard and Arie Rain Glorie as the Centre for Dramaturgy and Curation. The entire eight hours was audio-recorded, transcribed and edited as a record of the conversation that was had.

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as traditional custodians, on whose unceded lands we live and work. We respectfully acknowledge their elders past and present.
